On September 10, 2009, Monopanel Technologies Inc. and Xymox Technologies Inc. completed a transaction in which Xymox is acquiring assets of Monopanel, including its customer base and intellectual property.

After a successful 25 year career in the industry, Marty Hedrich, President of Monopanel is retiring. Per Hedrich:

"I am proud of that the Monopanel team has accomplished and feel confident that Xymox will do an excellent job in continuing to service our customers. I know they will carry on the Monopanel tradition of high quality and outstanding customer service."

Both companies design and manufacture film-based and circuit-board based interface devices and related products (membrane switch technology).
